Want to discover more about your faith? A new discussion group will commence in May for people keen to renew their baptismal vows or wishing to be confirmed or baptised. Please speak to Karen if you are interested. Parish Magazine - Karen is in the process of putting together our magazine. It is a great way to keep in contact with the broader community. If you have any items of interest please send them in now.
The Annual Parishioners' Meeting will be held on Sunday 12th June after the Service. Please check to see you are on the Roll as this is important if you wish to vote or be nominated for a position of Parish Council. Please prayerfully consider how you might be involved this year or who you could nominate to represent the parish.
Our Walpole Congregation now have two visits a month; on the second and fourth Sunday, and Karen is working to rebuild links between our two centres. From May 2005 there will be a weekly Holy Communion Service in Walpole.
Combined Service -Denmark & Walpole. On the 5th Sunday of the month, commencing June 2005, there will be a Eucharist at the Tingledale Hall at 10.30am followed by a shared lunch. This is an opportunity for the whole parish to worship together and share fellowship after the service. In warmer months the service may take place at the Tree-Tops National Park.
OUR MONTHLY SAUSAGE SIZZLE is held on the first Sunday of each month. Visitors are welcome to join in. We usually hold it in the gazebo down by the river, weather conditions permitting, otherwise in the hall. Occasionally we hold it at a parishioner's home. First Sunday of each month following the morning service.
Ordination to the Priesthood - Karen will be ordained in St John's Albany on July 11 at 6pm. All are welcome so please note it on your calander.
